Description
A carved mahogany writing table in George II style, the serpentine edge top inset tooled leather to a leaf and husk decorated edge above a central frieze drawer and kneehole flanked by two shaped drawers either side, each with cable framed panel fronts with gilt bronze foliage open handles, panelled sides and back with canted corners having leaf carved decoration on conforming cabriole legs with knurled toes and shell pads, late 19th century, 29.75in (75.5cm) h, 48in (122cm) w, 28in (71cm) d.
