A rare George III Irish provincial snuff box, of good guage of rounded oblong form, curved to fit the pocket with a flush fitting concealed hinged cover, inscripted 'Pat Riordan Cork', stamped inside 'STERLING', no apparent makers mark, Cork 1800-1810, 3in (7.7cm) long.
