Description

A George III cylindrical example, with bead borders, rubbed scroll handle and a pierced scroll handle, the side intricately pierced with trailing floral scrolls and repeating floral motifs, and heightened by engraving, with central oval cartouche, initialled 'B.A.E', probably by Henry Hobdell, London 1780 (blue glass liner), 3.2in (8cm), 3.25oz.
