Clive Stewart-Lockhart is Deputy Chairman at Woolley and Wallis. He joined in May 2012, as Managing Director. His career started in 1974 at Sotheby's and included short spells at Bluetts, Oriental Art Dealers, and Bonhams. In 1982 he moved from Sotheby's to the auctioneers Dreweatts, which he helped build into a major regional saleroom, becoming Deputy Chairman.
Clive was a specialist on the BBC Antiques Roadshow for 23 years and is an Accredited Lecturer with the Arts Society (formerly NADFAS). He has also lectured on a number of cruises around the world, including two with Paul Viney. He sees his role at Woolley and Wallis as assisting John Axford in adding to their many successes in recent years.
