The ovoid body with two large panels depicting a bird flying over blossoming plants on a pink ground, the side panels with stylized ho-o birds, dragons, butterflies and other geometrical shapes, the foot, rim and lid with borders of lappets and key fret, the handles with karakusa scrolls and stylized flowers, in the style of Hayashi Kodenji (1831-1915), unsigned, 17.8cm.(2)
