A pearl and diamond ring by Mellerio

A pearl and diamond ring by Mellerio, late 1930s. The two cream and black natural pearls are set with scrolls of baguette shaped diamonds and graduated circular cut diamonds to the shoulders. Signed platinum mount with French control mark. Size G (with internal sizing sleeve). With report number 5272 dated 24th February 2012 from the Gem and Pearl Laboratory stating that 1. The button shaped cream/white pearl measures 13.7 - 14.0 x 11.1mm and weighs 15.47cts (approximately 61.5 grains) and is natural saltwater with no evidence of treatment observed. 2. The irridescent grey black button shaped pearl measures 13.5 - 14.2 x 8.8mm and weighs 11.47cts (approximately 45.8 grains) and is natural saltwater with no evidence of treatment observed.
