A rare Medieval parcel gilt mount
A rare Medieval parcel gilt mount, (possibly from a cross), quatrefoil in outline engraved with an eagle grasping a scroll in its talons, inscribed "IHOAN", perhaps for St John the Apostle, unmarked, probably 14th century, 2in (5cm) wide overall.
