An early 19th century gallery inkstand, of oval serpentine outline fitted with a central cylindrical box with a bell cover, flanked by two other cylindrical covered pots (one with an internal pounce pot; the other with glass liner), with decorative stamped borders and beading, inscribed 'SIR JOHN GLADSTONE GLENDYE FROM W', probably Spanish, late 18th/early 19th century, 9.6in (24.cm) long. 37oz.
