A Chinese Imperial famille rose blue ground medallion bowl six character Jiaqing seal mark and of the period 1796-1820, delicately painted with four roundels, depicting the story of Niu Lang and the heavenly Immortal Zhi Nu, reserved on a rich blue scrolling ground with clouds, the interior decorated in underglaze blue with a further medallion, clouds and magpies, 14.9cm.

Provenance: an English Private collection, London.
