A Chinese ivory bitong c.1900, elaborately reticulated with a key fret, over which figures, birds, pine, bamboo, plantain and rockwork are carved in shallow relief, the foot carved with two dragons and a phoenix, the base with a four character Qianlong mark, together with a hardwood stand, 16.5cm.
