A pair of Chelsea plates, with feather moulded rims, each painted with a colourful long-tailed bird standing on a tree stump, between two other birds perched in foliage, brown anchor marks, c.1755-60, a little wear, a tiny rim frit, 21.4cm. (2) Provenance: Bought in 1949 from the Antique Porcelain Company, Bond Street, London.
