Four medieval encaustic tiles c.13th/14th century, three decorated in yellow slip, one with a figure on a galloping horse, one with a shield, the other with a stylized geometric design, the fourth tile in white and black with a chequered shield, 13.8cm max. (4)

By repute, one from Combermere Abbey in Cheshire, one from Dunstable Priory.
