λ A large late 19th century German ivory carved cup and cover, with a victorious warrior and lion finial, the body of the cup carved with a battle scene with crusaders on horseback, the base with a soldier chaining a prisoner and with war trophies, above a leaf carved and bead moulded plinth, 47.6cm high.
