An early George III Irish giltwood pier mirror
An early George III Irish giltwood pier mirror, the later rectangular plate flanked by cluster columns and carved 'C' scrolls with floral garlands, with a basket of flowers surmount above a later cartouche carved with a Pegasus crest flanked by a pair of ho-ho birds, 157.5 x 102cm.
Provenance: Purchased from William Mullins Ltd., Cashel, Co. Tipperary, Ireland, 2nd July 1960 for £350.
