Bowcher, Frank (1864-1938). A bronze relief portrait of Thomas Henry Huxley F.R.S. (1825-1895), scientist and educationalist, 10.25in (26.2cm) dia. mounted on a square ebonised frame. This portrait is after a bust by the sculptor Edward Onslow Ford, whose pupil Bowcher had once been.
