An early 19th century Portuguese painted chestnut longcase clock, the eight day birdcage movement striking on a bell, with an arched enamelled and brass dial, with Roman numerals and inscribed 'Jeremie Girod Porto e Coruna', the arch repousse decorated with exotic birds, the case carved with an urn of flowers and leaves above a mask, 233.2cm high.
