A George II Scottish silver snuffer's tray,
assay master/ maker Dougal Ged, Edinburgh 1740,
shaped rectangular form, moulded border, baluster handle with a fleur de lis and scroll motif, on four hoof feet, engraved with a crest and motto, length 16cm, approx. weight 5.8oz.
The crest is that of Duff.
