oval form, the hinged cover with a carved mother-of-peal plaque of a lady dancing and a gentleman playing a musical instrument, plain sides, the underside of the base with a cipher, the interior with a painted ivory panel of a lady sitting in front of a dressing table mirror, length 7.8cm.
