A James I silver Apostle spoon, St. John,

fig-shaped bowl, slightly tapering faceted stem, gilded apostle finial, the nimbus with a dove, the reverse of the bowl with prick-dot initials 'A' over 'R.?', length 18.9cm, approx. weight 1.7oz.
Provenance: Purchased from Tessiers, 26 New Bond Street, London, probably in the 1950's.
