A George III silver engraved vinaigrette,

by Thropp and Taylor, Birmingham 1812,

rectangular form, the hinged cover engraved with a scene of a sheep being sheared, the interior with a pierced silver-gilt grille with a shell motif and scroll work, plain sides, the base with an engraved border, length 3.8cm, approx. weight 0.9oz.
