A rare William III Scottish provincial silver quaich,

by George Walker, Aberdeen circa 1700,

circular form, with engraved stave and coopered decoration, the lug handles with engraved borders and 'M' over 'RF' and 'Ms', on a raised circular foot, length handle to handle 10.5cm, diameter of bowl 8.5cm, approx. weight 1.3oz.

Provenance: Sold in these rooms, 20 April 2004, lot 1708.
