A Meissen chocolate pot and cover c.1755, the pear-shaped body painted beneath the spout with a dog seated on its haunches and gazing up reproachfully at a colourful bird perched above its head, the reverse with a rabbit boxing the long tail of a bright parrot, with scroll moulded side handle, blue crossed swords mark, 15.2cm.
