A Wood-type creamware Toby jug c.1790, modelled in typical seated pose with a foaming jug of ale, a small upright barrel between his feet, his long clay pipe resting vertically by his right side, his coat sponged in blue, his pipe stem chipped, some good restoration to his hat, 25.2cm.
