A rare Pennington (Liverpool) beaker dated 1787, the flared form painted with a cartouche of polychrome flowers containing the inscription 'John and Elizabeth Baker 1787', the reverse with a corn stook, the interior rim with a continuous band of puce grapevine, a star crack to the base, 8.3cm.

Provenance: from a private collection in Surrey.
