λAn 18th century Scottish silver mounted ivory and hardwood snuff mull,

unmarked, circa 1740,

upright waisted form, decorated with alternating strips, the body with a later silver band, the hinged cover set with an oval silver plaque engraved with two shaking hands and initialled 'G.F'. height 5.3cm.
