A SMALL CHINESE LONGQUAN CELADON GLAZED 'MARRIAGE' DISH
SONG/YUAN DYNASTY
The shallow body with a flattened everted rim, moulded to the interior with a pair of fish, the reverse with a faint radiating petal design, a paper label for Bluett & Sons London, raised on a hardwood five-legged stand, 13.2cm. (2)
Provenance: purchased by Bluett & Sons from Spink & Son, 2nd October 1935, for £8. The collection of Basil Drewe, purchased from Bluett & Sons, 29th February 1936, for £12:10, and thence by descent.
