The deity carved standing upon a lotus base, she holds a basket before her in her right hand, bearing a serene expression on her face, her long robes decorated in inlaid wire with scrolls and small flowers, 62.8cm.

Provenance: from the collection of Professor Anne Birrell (1950-2020). Professor Birrell taught Chinese and Chinese literature at Cambridge University and the City University of New York.
