A good Jacobite wine, typically engraved with a thistle and rose, inscribed 'Fiat' to the reverse, raised on a double-knopped airtwist stem, the foot gently domed, mid 18th century, 17cm.
Provenance: by repute from the collection of the Hunt family, town clerks of Stratford upon Avon between 1762 to 1874.
