λ An early 19th century Chinese export lacquer tea chest, of sarcophagus shape, decorated in gilt with panels of figures in tea related pursuits with further decoration of flowers and butterflies, the hinged lid revealing a pair of lift-out lidded pewter canisters with vegetable ivory handles with brass side carrying handles on carved and painted giltwood dragon feet, 16cm high, 28cm wide, 21.7cm deep.
