A Lechertier Barbe pine and beech artist's easel, with an adjustable rest, one side with a brass plaque inscribed 'LECHERTIER BARBE LTD 95 JERMYN ST. S.W., 72 YEARS AT 60 REGENT ST.', on ceramic castors, 165.3cm high, 61.2cm wide, 58.2cm deep, together with a paint box and a book 'My Colourful Life' by Juliet Pannett'. (3)

Provenance: The Property of the late Juliet Pannett M.B.E., F.R.S.A.,(1911-2005). Juliet was a prolific portrait artist and one of the chroniclers of twentieth-century life in Britain. Her portraits of Prime ministers and eminent public figures featured in exhibitions and newspapers and magazines.
