A giant early Victorian tortoiseshell sarcophagus shape tea chest, inlaid white metal stringing, the hinged lid inset a vacant plaque, to a plush lined interior with ivory edges, fitted with a pair of cut glass lidded caddies flanking a later mixing bowl, on ball feet, 7.25in (8.4in) h, 13in (33cm) w, 6.75in (17cm) d. One foot replaced, losses to veneer and stringing.
