MEIJI PERIOD, 19TH CENTURY
The majestic raptor perched on a rocky outcrop, its wings fully open as it prepares to take flight, its head lowered and with the eyes inlaid in shakudo, the beak and claws in gilt, signed underneath the tail feathers, 62cm high. (4)
