An early 18th-century gilt metal pair-cased pocket watch, the movement by Tompion and Banger. The later white enamel dial signed T. Tompion with black Roman hour numerals and Arabic minute numerals. The movement signed T Tompion and E Banger, London, numbered 3634. Ornately pierced and engraved balance cock. The outer case with leather cover. 4.5cm wide.
