An interesting George II silvergilt circular snuff box, of circular outline with slightly concaved, plain sides and an agate set, domed base and cover with floral chasing around the border, the thumbpiece chased in relief with a crest, maker's mark "?.P", London 1774, 2.7in (6.8cm) diameter.
