A suite of two George III silver tea caddies and a sugar box,

rectangular bombé form, pull-off covers, the tea caddies with a bird and foliate finial, the sugar box with a flower finial, on four shell feet, engraved with a later crest, in a later silver-mounted fitted shagreen case, London circa 1784, with a hinged handle, the front applied with a crest, on four claw and ball feet, height of caddies 12cm, length of case 26.8cm, approx. weight 23.5oz. The crest is probably that of Ainsworth.
