A George II beaker

A George II beaker, of slightly waisted form with a rounded base and chased fruit and flowers around the sides, just below the rim, engraved on one side with script initials 'MHR' and on the other with a crest below the motto 'VIRTUTE ET LABORE' by Edward Lothian, Edinburgh 1749, 2.6in (6.6cm) high, 5oz.
