20th Century Design including Studio Pottery


 
 


The 20th Century Design department has two specialist sales per year which include 100 to 150 lots of Studio Pottery.

The March 7th auction includes a small private collection of work by Shoji Hamada including 5 rare plates decorated with a green copper Seigi poured glaze.

Other highlights include work by Bernard Leach, Michael Cardew, William 'Bill' Marshall, Peter Hayes and a massive John Maltby sculpture.

A fully illustrated catalogue will be online from 1st March.

The 28th November British Art Pottery auction will also include a large section of studio pottery. This sale will close for entries on 30th September.
