Valuations are a core part of our business and are usually carried out by a senior specialist or director. Accuracy, speed and confidentiality are paramount.

INSURANCE VALUATIONS

Written valuations for insurance can vary from a single item to a large estate. Before starting we discuss the various options available so that the valuation is specifically tailored to individual client's needs.

For valuations of an entire house contents an itemised bound valuation is produced and can be accompanied by photographs when required.  In addition to providing an inventory, written valuations can prevent painful arguments with a loss adjuster in the event of a claim.

Woolley and Wallis valuations are accepted by all leading insurance companies.

PROBATE VALUATIONS

We offer a speedy and professional service for executors and trustees and provide bound valuations for probate and duplicate copies when required. Since security is often a consideration, we can usually arrange for a house contents to be cleared and sent for auction and our Valuations Department ensures that executors are kept informed of which sales are involved and the results thereof.

We also carry out valuations for Family Division, Capital Gains Tax, and Private Treaty Sales.
