Our specialists will be offering free auction valuations at our Castle Street salerooms every last Friday of the month, beginning 27th February, from 10am-1pm.
Whether it is a family heirloom, a dusty attic find, or a curious collectable, meet our experts and discover the true market value of your items, with no obligation to sell.
"Many people are sitting on treasures and other items of significant value without realising it," says John Axford, Chairman and specialist on the BBC Antiques Roadshow. "Our valuation days are designed to be accessible and educational. We love the thrill of discovery, and Salisbury has a rich history of producing unexpected treasures!"
The events will take place at the Saleroom at 51-61 Castle Street, Salisbury SP1 3SU every last Friday of the month, from 10am-1pm. The first Valuation Morning will be held on 27th February; no prior appointment is required.
What to Bring
The valuation mornings provide a unique opportunity for members of the community to meet with renowned specialists across a variety of departments.
Our specialists are currently inviting entries for this year's auctions, and they will be on hand to provide verbal estimates for fine jewellery (from antique pieces to modern luxury brands); silver and objects of vertu (including tea sets, trophies, snuff boxes, etc.); Asian Art (Chinese jades, Japanese ceramics, netsuke, etc.); paintings and prints (Old Masters through to contemporary works); furniture and works of art, coins and medals, and many other types of artworks.
Visitors are encouraged to bring pictures of sizeable items. For larger collections or entire estate, Woolley & Wallis also offers complimentary home visits by prior arrangement. Contact our Valuation Department for enquiries.
