Variously carved as Benkei emerging from a large shell and blowing a conch shell horn, Emma sat before a bowl, with mother of pearl inlays, signed Yoshitama; Benten holding a wrapped biwa, a man climbing on a large shell containing tiny figures, the last of Hotei carrying a bag and small child, two further signed, 5.7cm. (5)
