Three of the netsuke in ivory, carved as a cat with an awabi shell, a mask of Ebisu and a crab amongst clams, one of his eyes inlaid in horn, the fourth in polychrome lacquer and ivory depicting a shishi mask, all unsigned, together with a cane handle with many masks, signed Masatomo, 4cm. (5)

Provenance: formerly in an English private collection.
