A Meissen two-handled sauceboat c.1740, raised on four elaborate scrolling feet, the rim moulded with a band of osier, painted with scattered deutsche Blumen, each end with colourful female masks wearing feathered headdresses, blue crossed swords mark, a section of the rim broken and cleanly restuck, 24.8cm.
