A South Staffordshire enamel patch box late 18th/early 19th century, the oval form decorated with Britannia seated beside a lion and before a tall masted ship, holding a sceptre and with her shield leaning up against her skirts, within a continuous laurel leaf border, the sides with a striped design of leaves and puce flowerheads, the interior cover fitted with a mirror, a small area of restoration, 5.3cm.
