A George III mahogany apothecary's box, the hinged lid with a gilt brass handle, revealing a divided interior fitted with eleven bottles and stoppers (one missing) and a measure and a pestle, with a base drawer, with a lift-out tray fitted with a pestle and mortar, a set of scales and further bottles, a syringe and other items, 22cm high, 21.6cm wide, 16.5cm deep.
