A late-18th century French gold-mounted agate snuff box,
apparently unmarked,
circular form, the mounts with pierced scrolls and with a seated hare, the hinged cover with a white enamel ribbon, inscribed 'S'il me prenoit envie d'aimer voudriez vous me seconder', diameter 5.5cm.
