A rare Worcester blue and white dry mustard pot c.1756, the pear-shaped form painted with the Cranes Among Reeds pattern, two birds standing among tall aquatic plants with a third in flight above, the reverse with a flower spray, workman's mark, cover lacking, 8cm.

Cf. Branyan, French and Sandon, Worcester Blue and White Porcelain, no. I.C.17 which illustrates an example with a cover, at the time believed to be unique.
