A George III bright engraved oval tea caddy, with a hinged lockable cover to either side of the fixed reeded carrying handle, the lobed ovoid body decorated with an upper and lower band of foliage either side of a vacant cartouche with tied ribbon surmount and foliate festoons to either side, with a single key with tassel, by John Emes, London 1800, 6.5in (17cm) wide, 15.5oz.
