Provenance Mrs Davis Literature The Retrospective Exhibition of Shoji Hamada, April 16th - June 5th, 1977 The National Museum of Modern Art, Tokyo catalogue number 179 page 143 for 2 comparable plates from a set of six, dated to 1960.
