An oak armchair in the manner of Charles Frances Annesley Voysey, square plank seat on tapering square legs and arms, the tall back with vertical splats and arched mantel, unsigned, 138.5cm. high
Known from several examples, this chair is probably of European manufacture and based on a chair, recorded at The Homestead, which was exhibited Internationally including in the British section of the International Exhibition in Turin, 1902 and reproduced as a drawing in The Cabinet Maker, March 1903.
