A Wedgwood terracotta model of a Duiker Lying designed by John Skeaping and glazed by Norman Wilson, on swollen rectangular base, covered in a grey glaze impressed mark and impressed J Skeaping, printed Wedgwood NW mark, impressed 10 F 50, 16.5cm. wide

Catalogue notes

Unusually this figure is modelled in a terracotta coloured material which when glazed, reacts creating the burnt umber colour in the glaze. Although indistinct the 10 F 50 mark suggest a date of 1950.
